G. rotor is a patented highly efficient continuously variable transmission.

It is useful in all cases demanding continuous speed variation to optimise efficiency and limit consumption and emissions.

 

 

As the G.rotor is modular and graded, it can be easily used with great advantages for motion transmission and variation in different sectors, ranging from gardening machines, to automotive, from on and off-road vehicles to windmills.

For example, it allows eliminating the inverter controlling engine revolutions at the start up and during acceleration in hybrid and electric vehicles.

The engine can run at constant speed, and any variation, including reverse motion, is controlled by the G.rotor.

The possibility to keep engine revolutions constant allows using a normal self-cooling engine.

Eliminating the cooling system and the inverter means a lighter vehicle and consequently higher energy efficiency and longer battery life.
